This course is designed for learners who are already working in a management role or who are hoping to be promoted into a management role in the near future. The course has been designed to  sequence your learning from developing yourself and your team to managing more complex operations such as undertaking projects and creating an operational plan.

Each session has a presentation which should be used, suggested reading signposts and the associated assignment.

These Moodle sessions should be used to accompany your taught sessions rather than instead of attending your sessions. 

This Apprenticeship is awarded by the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) and aligns with their Professional Standards for Management

This unit equips the learner with the skills and underpinning knowledge required to developing a systematic approach to solving problems in Electrical & Electronic circuits. The unit has a high focus on the practical application of analytical skills to support established theorectical investigation to electrical and electronic systems and components.


The unit is intended to enable the learner to understand how electrical and electronics principles are used in solving engineering problems. The electrical and electronic principles within the learning outcomes of this unit are intended to be relevant to the content of the units and should be taught alongside wherever possible.
The unit is graded Pass,Merit,Distinction
